The Vital injector is a revolutionary new treatment for the skin. This unique device provides a skin boosting treatment that allows a uniform, precise depth and dosage of stabilised hyaluronic acid coupled with the benefits of needling.

This approach hydrates and nourishes the skin, providing immediate results. In this it differs from other delivery systems that can be washed  from the surface of the skin. The skin boosters improve the quality of your skin by increasing hydration levels deep inside your skin. This in turn improves
the smoothness, elasticity and firmness of your skin.

Who can it be used on and why?

As we age our skin looses volume which is particularly distressing  in the visible areas of our body, particularly our faces. Superadded UV induced sun damage in combination with years of stressors such as cosmetics add to the aged looking skin we all fear. The vital Boosters offer the opportunity
for us to replenish and maintain natural levels of hydration.

Skinboosters  are safely used  in all age groups and Fitzpatrick skin types.

In which areas can I use this treatment?

The most common areas for the treatments remain the face, décolletage and hands. The treatment can however be used in any dehydrated, volume depleted areas.

How does the treatment work?

The treatment involves the use of vital injector which injects precise dosages of a soft, gel-like substance called hyaluronic acid (HA) into the skin at an exact dept h, which results in improved skin firmness, elasticity and a more radiant appearance.

During the procedure some may feel mild discomfort. A topical anaesthetic will therefore be administered prior to the treatment which improves comfort levels.

How many treatments are recommended?

We recommend three monthly treatments for first time skins. This will, however, depend on the volume loss in your skin.  The results are immediate and last up t o 12 months.

What should I do before my treatment?

You will need to book an appointment with one of our practitioners ( click through to contact us tab). They will advise you as to any pre-treatment precautions and provide you with complete aftercare instructions.

You should tell your practitioner if you are on any medications that could cause bleeding or bruising, typically aspirins and other anti-coagulants. Non-steroidal anti-inflammatories, such as Nurofen, have the same effect on bruising, and must also be avoided for five days before your treatment. If you have any known allergies, particularly to your prior aesthetic treatments, immunological diseases, or any history of heart disease, it is vital that you discuss these with your aesthetician.  Unfortunately, this treatment is not advisable and therefore not offered if you are pregnant or breast-feeding.

The main benefits are the hydration of dry and aged skin, which are associated with dark bags underneath the eyes. The HA lightens the appearance of the bags along with the fine lines and wrinkles that occur as we get older.
